aeroelastic flutter is Beth Collar’s second exhibition at GUTS. Centered on a pterodactyl sculpted from fresh clay, the exhibition is accompanied by a commissioned text by assyriologist Sophus Helle. Moving between paleontology, Babylonian mythology, and the history of printmaking, Helle’s essay creates an echo chamber around the sculpture, tracing unexpected connections across time and material.
