It’s Curtains brought four years at Hobrechtstraße 31 to a close. More than a farewell, the exhibition pulled together all the artists who had shaped the space since its beginning; a collective goodbye and an instant snapshot of what GUTS had been.
By reuniting everyone who had exhibited there, the show became a living archive: a compressed memory of four years of experimentation and collaboration. For one day, the space also turned its gaze inward, opening up its own architecture: the walls, the corners, the stage tricks usually kept hidden.
The title carried its double meaning with intention. It’s curtains for that location, but not a final curtain call.
