Beth Collar

25.06 – 05.06.2026

aeroelastic flutter is Beth Collar’s second exhibition at GUTS. An irregular breeze from a fan occasionally billows the curtain opposite a pterodactyl sculpted from fresh clay. The exhibition is accompanied by a commissioned text on the pterodactyl by assyriologist Sophus Helle. Helle’s essay moves between paleontology, Babylonian mythology, and the history of printmaking to create an echo chamber around the sculpture, and traces unexpected connections across time and material.
